Effective prevention

Recombinant influenza vaccine (RIV) contains haemagglutinin (a surface protein of influenza virus) that is produced by recombinant technology, and does not require egg or influenza virus in the production process.

Common side effects

     Mild side effects generally only last for 1-2 days
     Slight redness, swelling and pain at the injection site, limited arm movement

Not suitable for

     People with high fever and severe physical discomfort should not be vaccinated, and can only be vaccinated after recovery

     Those with bleeding disorders or on anticoagulants should consult their doctors for advice.

  Precautions

        Can be given influenza vaccination or COVID-19 vaccination at the same time.
        High-risk groups, such as the elderly, chronic lung disease, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and smokers, should be vaccinated with the 20-valent pneumococcal vaccine.
